To all my friends...
I apologize for not being here as much as I would like - nor creating and posting art. Truth is, I am recovering from hand and arm surgery following a rather stupid traffic accident. It's all cool tho... on the mend. Just takes time. But at 63 years old... LOL!!!
Still working at it but, never satisfied
Thank you all for support!!!!!!

I am truly sorry to have portrayed and rendered Soviet/Russian aircraft. I did these works when there was a hope of peace, and they were admirable. This is no longer the case. I will take them down if our Community agrees. All power to Crimea!

Well, I'd recently been given a new challenge by a friend of mine. He wanted me to do some strictly pencil renderings of World War One aircraft, with minimal or no use of any drafting aids. Pencil is not my preferred medium at all (and I haven't done any in a very long while) but I accepted the task, with the provision that I would be allowed to choose the planes I would draw. I didn't fully realize just what a pain this would be! I really, REALLY hated doing the rigging wires on those birds, as they don't reproduce very well - perhaps it's because of my crappy scanner, but I don't know. Anyway, I hope to post them soon. Please, be kind

Last week I decided that, in doing artwork on the Mercury space program, I would be remiss if I ignored doing a piece on the first human into space - the event that pushed the American effort to get into full gear. In doing the research for it, I found many interesting facts surrounding Soviet Major Yuri Gagarin and his flight. Accomplishing the piece was probably the hardest I've yet done so far, but I am pleased with the result.

I found my mind... then realized it wasn't really worth the effort. Oh, well...
